Deadlines

When Do I Report?

Daily, whenever there is an outbreak of COVID-19 in the nursing home.

Method

How Do I Report?

Submission of daily reports into the REDCap reporting system is mandated until the facility receives written notification from the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) to discontinue reporting once there are no new cases.

Notes

Any other pertinent information

Outbreak reporting into REDCap is activated when a positive resident or staff member is indicated in the SNF Daily Status Survey. If the facility has not been completing this survey, they are still obligated to notify DPBH.

Facilities must also complete a CDC PUI Form for each positive in addition to entering the information into REDCap as this goes directly to the CDC.
