FY 20-21 SHIP GRANT HCAHPS FORM
Federal Grant Reporting Requirement

Background: Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) vendors are supported for all Nevada Rural Hospital Partners (NRHP) member hospitals with funding from the Small Hospital Improvement Program (SHIP) grant.
Federal Funding: Most NRHP members belong to a group contract with J.L. Morgan to assist with conducting patient satisfaction surveys and costs are 100% covered. For those hospitals that choose another vendor to conduct patient satisfaction surveys, a check in the amount that would be paid in the group contract is sent to the facility at the end of the SHIP grant fiscal year to help cover the costs.
Federal Reporting Requirement: Each hospital is asked to respond to the following three questions the following on an annual basis to assist NRHP in meeting HCAHPS quality improvement goals set forth in the Nevada SHIP federal grant.
